Registered Physiotherapist, Medical Acupuncture
MPT, Hons. BScKin, FCAMPT
Caroline completed her Master’s of Physical Therapy from the University of Western Ontario in 2012 and has been motivating others to reach their full potential ever since. Having treated a wide range of orthopaedic conditions, she has come to understand that everyone needs something different in order to succeed and believes that developing client-specific functional goals is the key to effective rehabilitation under SWAT’s roundtable method.
Caroline is certified in acupuncture by the McMaster University Medical Acupuncture program and has taken courses in concussion management and vestibular dysfunction. As a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapists (FCAMPT), she has been able to add advanced techniques and clinical abilities in manual and manipulative therapy to her skillset.
Whether she is riding her bike, running, hiking or just exploring somewhere new, Caroline enjoys being outdoors any chance she gets, and understands what impact an injury can have on maintaining an active lifestyle. She places high value on the complexity of any injury from start to finish and looks to predisposing factors and imbalances that make one person more susceptible to injury than the next. Caroline takes pride in educating her patients on the importance of self-management and her treatment style combines manual therapy with a strong focus on breathing technique and functional exercise.
